Sam will be turning on the Village Centre Christmas lights between 5.30pm – 6.30pm, along with the winners of the Freedom Centre's design a Christmas card competition. Events manager Tony Forrester said 'Sam is really looking forward to performing in Hull and signing autographs for all that come to see him'.

Also performing live on The Freedom Centre outdoor stage will be New band Pink Lemonade, The Fixers, Hull Bach Choir, Hull Daily Mail Talent Trail Junior winner Mia Codd, The Freedom Centre WOW FACTOR winner Katie Parsons and special guests from both the Talent Trail & WOW FACTOR competitions.

Come along to visit the annual Christmas market to stock up on your christmas gifts, with stalls selling handbags, scarves, toys, crafts, Christmas wreaths, decorations, beauty products, sweets, jewellery, tombolas and lots more. The village centre is also filled with rides for young children, with santa's grotto located in The Freedom Centre. Tickets to see Santa are just £2.00 each and include a gift for each child.

The cafe and bar are open throughout so come along to The Freedom Centre this Friday 2nd December from 3pm-7.30pm and help us spread some Christmas cheer, Merry Christmas from the Freedom Centre!

Although we have sold out for two performances of the TaleGate Theatre's production of Mother Goose for this year, never fear..........we still have tickets left for three other performances on Monday 19th December at 1pm and 7pm and on Tuesday 20th December at 7pm.

Join in with the festive fun this Christmas and come along to enjoy the fabulous performance of Mother Goose, were we follow the journey of Gertie (the pantomime dame) going from rags to riches, then from ugly to beautiful and back again.

The Freedom Centre provided a centre stage for this year's Humber Expo 2011, welcoming over 45 exhibitors from around the region and offering twelve free seminars throughout the day.


The business to business networking event added an extra dimension this year with the majority of seminars focusing on ‘Greener issues'. As a result of this, along with key issues raised on the day, a working group has now been formed by key sectors of the industry to promote the area as a green hub.


The Freedom Centre would like to thank all speakers and exhibitors who took part on the day, along with all visitors, and would like to welcome you all back in 2012, to showcase our developments and open up our networking platform for your businesses, once again.
